Amie Kawasaki, MD

Dr. Kawasaki is an Assistant Fellowship Program Director and Assistant Professor in the Division of Urogynecology in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Duke University in Durham, NC. She received her M.D. in 2005 from University of Miami School of Medicine in Miami, Fl. Dr. Kawasaki completed her Ob/Gyn residency in 2009 at Emory University in Atlanta, FL, and in 201 she completed a Fellowship in Female Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery at Duke University. Her interests include advanced pelvic surgery for pelvic organ prolapse, urinary incontinence, fistula and mesh complications, intravesical injections, sacral neuromodulation and posterior tibial nerve stimulation as well as medical management of urinary incontinence, recurrent UTIs and pessary for prolapse. She has published 12 articles and 1 book chapter.
