Learning Objectives
Upon completion of the educational activity, participants should be able to:
• Describe clinical trial options for patients with cancer, and for those who are candidates for treatment with immune checkpoint inhibitors.
• Identify appropriate patients with cancer for clinical trials, including those that include treatment with immunotherapy.
• Incorporate best practices in communicating information about clinical trials to cancer patients
Target Audience
This activity is intended for nurse practitioners, oncology nurses, advanced practice nurses, oncology nurse navigators, and other healthcare professionals involved in managing patients with cancer.
Criteria for Success
In order to receive credit, participants should read the monograph. Once you have read the monograph, you will continue to the online quiz and evaluation. A passing score of 70% on the quiz is required to receive credit.
