Intended Audience: Teams (physicians, NPs, PAs, nurses, pharmacists) specializing in rheumatology

 
AWIR 2021Registration for the AWIR Summit is required to attend this CME session. Rheumatologists will have an opportunity to attend other educational sessions, receive CME, share best practices, and network with their peers. Registration for the Summit should be completed by December 3 to allow for seamless access. Register for the Summit here.
 

During this virtual meeting, experts will discuss practical strategies to improve access to quality rheumatology care across diverse patient populations. With an emphasis on team-based approaches, the faculty will highlight:

  • The value of leveraging advanced practice providers and collaborating with primary care physicians
  • The importance of diversity in clinical trials for new rheumatology therapies
  • The benefits and challenges associated with telehealth/virtual visits (including in rural communities and communities of color)
