Sexual Harassment Training for Illinois Healthcare Professionals.
Course Description
All persons who hold a professional license issued by the Illinois Division of Professional Regulation and are subject to a continuing education requirement must complete a one-hour course in sexual harassment training. This course is approved for RN, LPN, APRN, OT, PT, physicians, pharmacists, dentists, veterinarians, detectives, cosmetologists, barbers, engineers, accountants, architects, and others.
Learning Outcome and Objectives
1) Define sexual harassment according to Illinois state law.

2) Distinguish between the types and forms of sexual harassment that may occur in the workplace.

3) Describe appropriate actions that a victim or witness to sexual harassment in the workplace may take.

4) Summarize how to report sexual harassment within one’s place of employment and to outside entities.

5) Explain the whistleblower protection law.
